Student Activities

If you are a San Juan College student interested in dynamic leadership, events, and just plain fun, we encourage you to visit us at Student Activities in room 6107 Learning Commons, right below the Library.

There are excellent opportunities for all students to enrich their experience with social, recreational, cultural, and educational activities. We offer a place to build connections and support networks between students, staff and community members.

Student Activities houses Associated Students of San Juan College, your student government and the Student Programmer/Ambassador Program; two great ways to get involved. We also offer the Student Activities Board (SAB) and support for our many Clubs and Organizations.

Student Activities oversees the following services and organizations:

Our Vision

Student Activities will continue to seek innovative ways to insure that quality learning opportunities happen.

Our Mission

The Office of Student Activities strives to create a culture of learning outside of the classroom that provides applicable life experiences. We engage and challenge our students to meet their potential and thereby become socially responsible citizens through leadership experience and program implementation. We provide students and community members the opportunity to enrich their educational experience with quality social, cultural, and family activities.

Our Values

Student Focused: treating students as individuals and striving to meet their needs to the best of our abilities. We strive for a friendly  and open atmosphere in order to meet the needs of the students.

Leadership: We work to empower students by promoting social responsibilities, personal growth and leadership development. We inspire students to become leaders for not only the betterment of self but also the communities they serve.

Learning Centered: Learning is a process that occurs throughout one's life; to the end we provide diverse co-curricular learning opportunities.

Mutual Respect: Respect the others is showing respect for one's self. WE suport understanding and appreciation for all persons by respecting and valuing diversity.

Potential: We believe that any given person has the potential to achieve greatness in any/all aspects of life; Student Activities fosters the development and growth of that potential through quality programming.

Integrity: We are continually searching for excellence in our actions and expressions while adhering to strong ethical principals.
