  • Groceries and Meal Support: The Trailblazer Cupboard provides groceries and meal support to help students stay focused on school
  • Childcare Support: Family-friendly study spaces help student parents stay on track while balancing school and family
  • Tutoring: In-person, walk-in, and online support is available
  • Health and Counseling: Free care and support for students’ physical and mental well-being
  • Housing Support: Resources and assistance help students maintain stability
  • Social and Emotional Support: Available through centers like the Herencia Latina Center, Native American Center, Veteran Center, and TRIO programs that support students’ success and sense of belonging

Support That Makes a Difference

Support services at San Juan College are designed to meet real student needs every day:

  • Free Student Health Center and Counseling services are available to all students
  • Tutoring services support more than 5,000 tutoring sessions during an academic year through in-person, walk-in, online, and supplemental instruction options
  • Approximately 100 meal vouchers are distributed weekly to support students in need
  • The Trailblazer Cupboard supports approximately 65 students each week and distributes nearly 1,300 pounds of food weekly
  • The Career Center supports more than 7,700 students each academic year with career exploration, resumes, job searches, and interview preparation
  • The Career Center places more than 700 students into experiential learning opportunities during an academic year, including internships, apprenticeships, student employment, and service learning opportunities
