San Juan College Campus Closure for Independence Day Holiday
San Juan College will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The closure includes the main campus in Farmington, New Mexico, the East Campus in Aztec, the West Campus in Kirtland, and all other San Juan College satellite locations.
Watch the Freedom Days Fireworks Display from San Juan College
SJC offers an excellent location to view the annual Freedom Days fireworks display from Sullivan Hill on July 3. Community members are invited to park in the main campus lots near the West Classroom Complex and Educational Services Building beginning at 3 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to bring:
- Lawn chairs
- Blankets
For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following are not permitted:
- Personal fireworks
- Charcoal grills
- Alcohol
- Unapproved vendors
Health and Human Performance Center Holiday Hours
The Health and Human Performance Center (HHPC) will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3, and remain closed on Saturday, July 4.
The HHPC will resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 6.
Public Safety Services Remain Available
SJC Department of Public Safety officers will remain on duty throughout the holiday closure.
