Take the steps to begin your San Juan College admissions process. Here you'll find the perfect fit for your career goals and current needs. Our degree and certificate programs are designed for your success, with many flexible and online options. We make it easy for you to apply to San Juan College with just three steps. First, know your admit type, such as whether you are a first-time student, transfer student, or high school student. Then create an Admissions Account through our website. With that account, you can login to complete your application online.
What type of student are you?
Choose from below to find out the next steps to apply to San Juan College.
You are a first-time freshman if you have never attended college, OR are applying to attend after completing high school or GED®, OR all your college credits were earned prior to high school graduation (or equivalent).
Dual Credit or Early Admit
You will be a dual credit student if you are a New Mexico resident still in high school or home school and want to take college-level courses at San Juan College. You are an early admit student if you are a high school student taking classes at San Juan College who lives out of state or are homeschooled.
You are a returning student if you previously attended San Juan College but have not enrolled in courses for one year or more. If you are a returning student, you need to re-apply for admission.
You are a transfer student if you have taken any college-level coursework at a regionally accredited college after high school graduation or GED® completion. San Juan College accepts Interstate Passport to satisfy general education requirements.
You will be an international student if you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. We have programs that require F-1 visas and other programs that do not.
You are a non-degree student if you will be taking college classes but not pursuing a degree or certificate at San Juan College. You will still need to apply in order to register for classes.
