Unique Visions: Celebrating the Unusual - Artwork by Kathryn Whitson
This exhibit is a love letter to all things found, old, rusty, abandoned, decayed, and forgotten. An archaeologist by trade, Kathryn Whitson first learned to draw artifacts with pen and ink in order to illustrate technical reports. After her retirement Whitson picked up various watercolor techniques to add color to her drawings, opening up a whole new world of possibilities for depicting the unusual objects and encounters from which she draws inspiration.

The Henderson Fine Art Gallery is pleased to present a two-person exhibition featuring Texas-based artists Omar Hernandez and Benito Huerta. The work of both artists will explore some dark themes; Huerta draws heavily from art history, pop culture, and his ethnic background to provide humorous commentary on serious societal matters while Hernandez focuses on a more personal approach by exploring connection with his late father.
