Community Learning Center Classes

Do you serve on or work for a board for a non-profit or governmental organization, whether large or small? Know your legal and financial responsibilities and gain the skills and knowledge to be part of an effective, efficient board. Three sessions include the following topics:

  • Board recruitment, strategic planning, retention of board members and best practices
  • Mission statement, running effective meetings, agendas, by-laws, Robert’s Rules of Order
  • Fiscal oversight and financial accountability
