STEM Teacher Education Scholarship

San Juan College is proud to offer the Four Corners Noyce Scholarship, a prestigious program sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) that empowers outstanding post-baccalaureate STEM students to pursue careers in K-12 education. Inspired by Dr. Robert Noyce, the co-inventor of the integrated circuit, this scholarship aims to meet the demand for high-quality STEM educators in high-need school districts.

Eligible candidates for the Four Corners Noyce Scholarship include post-baccalaureate STEM majors at San Juan College who are dedicated to teaching in underserved communities. Scholarship recipients receive substantial financial support, covering tuition and fees, in exchange for teaching in a high-need school district—two years of teaching for each year of support received.

In addition to the Four Corners Noyce Scholarship for post-baccalaureate students, San Juan College provides stipends to undergraduate students interested in exploring STEM K-12 teaching careers.

Apply for both undergraduate opportunities and the Four Corners Noyce Scholarship using the form below. Together, let's shape the future of STEM education in the Four Corners region.
