The Enterprise Center serves entrepreneurs, startups, makers, inventors, students, recent graduates, small businesses, and growth-oriented companies in Farmington, San Juan County, and the Four Corners region. You do not need to know which program you need before contacting the Enterprise Center. Some programs, workspace options, and equipment have specific eligibility, membership, training, or availability requirements.

No. The Enterprise Center supports people at different stages of the entrepreneurial journey. You can explore an idea, build entrepreneurship skills, develop or prototype a product, connect with business resources, or get help understanding what it takes to start a business. Other services, including business incubation and dedicated workspace, are designed for established or growth-oriented companies that meet program requirements.

A business incubator helps early-stage and growing companies build capacity by connecting them with workspace, business support, expertise, relationships, and an entrepreneurial environment. The Enterprise Center is a state-certified business incubator serving Farmington and the Four Corners. Eligible companies are admitted through a consultative process, work toward defined growth goals, and ultimately graduate into the broader community when they are ready for their next stage.

The Enterprise Center offers professional office space and light-manufacturing bays for eligible incubator companies, subject to availability. Affiliate Membership provides a more flexible option for entrepreneurs and businesses that do not need a dedicated resident space. Depending on current membership terms, affiliate resources may include shared coworking or professional workspace, conference rooms, business mailing address, internet access, and continued connection to Enterprise Center programs and community.

Affiliate Membership is a flexible way for entrepreneurs and businesses to maintain a professional home base and stay connected to the Enterprise Center without leasing a dedicated resident office or light-manufacturing space. It can be a good fit for early-stage entrepreneurs, home-based or remote businesses, companies that occasionally need professional space, and incubator graduates that want to remain part of the Enterprise Center entrepreneurial community. Current benefits and availability should be confirmed before enrollment.

Yes. The Enterprise Center connects aspiring entrepreneurs with educational programs, business resources, mentorship, and regional partners that support the process of moving from idea to action. Programs can help participants explore opportunities, understand customers, develop a business model, learn financial fundamentals, build marketing and sales skills, and prepare to communicate or pitch an idea. Available programs and workshops vary throughout the year.

Studio G and Enterprise Center entrepreneurial education programming give students and recent graduates opportunities to explore entrepreneurship and develop practical business skills. Participation is not limited to San Juan College students. Programming may also serve students from area high schools, colleges, and other educational institutions. No. Business incubation is one way to engage with the Enterprise Center, but it is not the only one. Entrepreneurs, makers, students, existing businesses, and community members can participate in different programs, workshops, events, and resources based on applicable requirements. Affiliate Membership can also provide a way for entrepreneurs and businesses to access professional resources and remain connected without becoming resident incubator companies.

Costs depend on the program, membership, or resource. Some Enterprise Center events, workshops, and business resources may be available at no cost, while professional workspace, Affiliate Membership, Makerspace access, equipment use, classes, or other services may have fees.
