How to use
Creates a page for an event. Multiple events can be in one section. Set the page layout to Tertiary Page - No Child Navigation. When linking to an individual event, use a Content Link.
The required elements are as follows:
- Title
- Event Category - select at least one category. These categories are used for filters in the Event Calendar
- Event Location
- Start Date and Time
- End Date and Time
- Recurs Every - if this is a regularly recurring event, select the time period for when it recurs - if it recurs irregularly (eg Monday, Tuesday and Friday) select Ad-Hoc - if it doesn't recur, select Never
- Abstract - short text about the event. Displayed at the top of the event page and in the Event Calendar listing
- Description - the main body text on the events page
The optional elements are as follows:
- Image
- Featured Event? - select this to enable the event to be pulled in by the Homepage News and Events and Sidebar Featured Events content types
- All Day Event?
- Recurrence End Date - if this is a recurring event, enter the last date the event happens
- Ad-hoc Recurrence 1, Ad-hoc Recurrence 2, Ad-hoc Recurrence 3 - use these to enter custom recurring dates
