SJC Associated Students and CAB invite you to join us for a fun-filled evening of food, fun, entertainment & flowers!
6pm — International Food Fair hosted by CAB
Featuring food and appetizers from around the World! Including stuffed eggs (Deviled eggs), Perogies, Hummus, Egg rolls, Agua fresca and more!
6:30pm — Associated Students’ Flower Stand
ALL Women in attendance will receive a keepsake rose bouquet from Student Government. Participants will choose three wooden roses from a variety of colors. AS will wrap the bouquet in ribbon.
7pm — Stirring the Pot: I Don’t Cook
Video Artworks by Rosemary Meza-DesPlas
Multidisciplinary artist, Meza-DesPlas blends original poetry, visual art, and performance into multimedia pieces. Drawing from family history and cultural heritage, she explores the complex experience of being an American, Indigenous, Latina woman. Satirical humor is woven through topics like gender issues, sociopolitical topics, and cultural stereotypes. A Q & A will follow the video screening.
