Carol Summers
Carol Summers has served SJC since 2011 and received the Physical Plant Support Staff Award in recognition of her commitment to excellence. Her professionalism, reliability and organizational skills help support the college’s daily operations.
Through her dedication to service, Summers exemplifies SJC’s ICARE values and demonstrates the importance of dependable, behind-the-scenes work in maintaining a strong campus community.
Susan McLaughlin
An adjunct faculty member at SJC since 2014, Susan McLaughlin received the Jane and Stuart Wilson Adjunct Faculty Award for her dedication to teaching and student success.
McLaughlin is recognized for her subject-matter expertise, mentorship, thoughtful feedback and generous support of students. Her commitment to helping students learn and grow reflects the important role faculty members play in creating a supportive and engaging educational experience.
Jeanne Winchell
Jeanne Winchell, who has served SJC since 2019, received the Fran Sandoval Support Staff Excellence Award.
Her professionalism, dependability and initiative strengthen campus operations and make her a trusted resource throughout the college. Winchell’s dedication reflects the essential contributions support staff make to the success of students, faculty and colleagues across SJC.
Auxiliary Services Team
The Auxiliary Services Team received the Presidential Service Excellence Award for its outstanding service to SJC.
Through its many contributions, the team supports departments and operations across the college, demonstrating a strong commitment to serving the entire SJC community. This recognition highlights the importance of teamwork and collaboration in creating a campus environment where students and employees can succeed.
