At San Juan College, you will gain the knowledge and skills to provide valuable care to those with mental and behavioral health concerns and make a positive difference in your community. The Behavioral Health / Mental Health program is offered both face-to-face and online so you can take courses in a format that works for you.
At San Juan College, we offer an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science that will prepare you for transfer to a four-year computer science program. In addition, we offer an Object Oriented Computer Programming Certificate, where you will master OOP concepts and practical applications and Grasp core languages like C++ and Python to craft software solutions.
If you're passionate about helping people, a degree in Human Services from San Juan College will prepare you to enter occupations such as a social worker, substance abuse counselor, domestic abuse counselor, or adult or juvenile probation officer.
Learn to provide IT knowledge and technical support skills to businesses. Complete our online associate degree in Information Technology in just 16 months. You will also be prepared to earn three certificates: Information Technology Support, Network Support, and Cybersecurity Support.

In New Mexico, if you already have a bachelor’s degree, you can earn your teaching certificate through SJC’s Alternative Teacher Licensure Program in just four semesters, taking approximately two classes per semester.
SJC also offers an Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Special Education, Secondary Education, or Early Childhood Education, which provides students with the principles, knowledge, and skills required to begin a career in education.
